Lunaphil Ultra is a sterile injectable gel used to correct the lip shape and perioral area. It can also be used to fill in any deep or superficial wrinkles by intradermal injection. Lidocaine content of Lunaphil ultra is used to reduce pain during and after the treatment.

Lunaphil Ultra is available only by a licensed physician or properly licensed practitioner.

Lunaphil Ultra should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Any incompliance may adversely affect the sterility, homogeneity, effectiveness and reliability of the product.

Ingredients

Hyaluronic Acid gel 24 mg
Lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg
Phosphate buffer (pH 7.2) 1 mL
Each syringe contains 1 mL of Lunaphil Ultra.

Product Information

 Lunaphil Ultra is a non-animal sterile cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with a formulation at physiological PH. Each package contains two -1mL sterile disposable syringes, four 27G1/2” sterile disposable needles, a manual, and a set of tracking labels (one for patient and one for professional records).

The Lunaphil Ultra syringes are sterilized by moist heat. The 27G1/2” needles are sterilized by radiation.

What precautions should professionals advise about Lunaphil Ultra?

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The safety of Lunaphil Ultra during pregnancy and lactation has not been studied.

Lunaphil Ultra is intended to inject in lips and for deep or superficial wrinkles. Lunaphil Ultra injection in the areas under the eyes should only be done by specially-trained professionals with proper knowledge of the area’s physiology.

The safety and effectiveness of Lunaphil Ultra hast not been studied in patients under the age of 18.

Tell your doctor if you have a history of excessive scarring or hyperpigmentation.

It is important not to have inflamed or infected skin.( acne, herpes, etc.) Tell your doctor if you have a history of oral herpes.

Tell your doctor if you are going to have laser therapy or chemical peeling within 2 weeks after injection.

Tell your doctor if you have a history of immune deficiency or using immunosuppressant drugs. Doctors should ensure accurate monitoring of patients. In particular, it is recommended that these patients undergo initial skin allergy tests and avoid injection if an allergic complication is observed.

Tell your doctor before treatment if you are using substances that can prolong bleeding, such as aspirin, ibuprofen and herbal supplements containing garlic and maidenhair. As with any injection, this may result in increased bruising or bleeding at the injection site

Lunaphil Ultra can be used at the same time with MRI.

Avoid applying make up for 12 hours after the injection.

Avoid sun exposure, ultraviolet rays, subzero temperature, sauna, and bath within two weeks after the injection.

Possible side effects

Possible side effects of Lunaphil Ultra

The most commonly side-effects with Lunaphil Ultra included redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, firmness, lumps/ bumps, bruising, discoloration, and itching.

These reactions may last up to one week and are consistent with other facial injection procedures.

Low filling effect may exist but after several days the required form will appear.

Lunaphil ultra should not be injected intravenously otherwise serious side effects like chance of stroke, skin necrosis, and damage to underlying structures may occur.

Immediately inform your doctor about any inflammatory reaction or any other side effects that continue for more than 7 days. Doctor is needed to use a suitable treatment.

Other adverse side effects associated with Lunaphil Ultra injection should be reported to the distributor or manufacturer.

Favorable Clinical Safety Profile

After reaction with HA, the epoxide groups of BDDE are neutralized, and only trace amounts of unreacted BDDE remain in the product (<2 parts per million).

When crosslinked HA, uncrosslinked HA, and unreacted BDDE degrade, they break down into harmless byproducts or into byproducts that are identical to substances already found in the skin.
